Built in 1818 during the 23rd year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty, the stone memorial archway was inscribed with four Chinese characters in regular script Zhi De Mu Dao, meaning the tomb passage for the most virtuous and with another three Chinese characters on its top in seal script Gu Huang Shan, meaning ancient sovereign hill, and it was also decorated on its top with flame-shaped ornaments, patterns of flying dragons, clouds, and the illuminating sun and moon.
