  The Sacred Way leading to the tomb was built in accordance with the standard set for a sovereign with pine and cypress trees planted on its flanks and five pairs of stone sculptures arranged in the order of ministers, generals, elephants, lions, and the mythological animals Xiezhi to stand guard at the Taibo Mausoleum with each minister holding a writing board and each general holding a copper hammer.
